The local garbage collection service for South Pend Oreille County in Washington and the City of Priest River in Idaho. The company is located in Rural Oldtown, ID and has been in the same family for three generations. Excess Disposal was established by Priest River locals, Ray and Lorraine Troudt and began serving South Pend Oreille County and Bonner County in 1972. It was built upon rural, small town principles, where working hard, playing hard, and treating everyone like your neighbor is highly valued. Over the years, Excess Disposal has expanded and improved its services to accommodate the needs of its customers, with a business model that has enabled the company to grow even as the area has grown. Today, the company services 2,500 customers and spans 335 square miles. And despite the transition to a large enterprise, Excess Disposal still holds true to its values. We believe in talking with our customers and being personable and available; we fully understand the complexity of life in the great northwest and aim to accommodate our customers to the best of our ability; we value working as a team to ensure that our customers’ needs are met.
